The soul that
awakened a dream
My name is Monika Chudíková, and my life has been inseparably connected for many years with an exceptional breed – the Rhodesian Ridgeback. My journey began in August 2010, when my first RR female, Gracea, entered my life. She stayed by my side until November 2020, and it was she who taught me what a ridgeback truly is – proud, intelligent, sensitive, and incredibly devoted to its family. Thanks to her, I understood that a ridgeback is not just a dog. It is a personality, a partner, and the heart of the whole family.
What I love about RR is their pride, gentle wildness, elegance, determination, and boundless devotion to those they love. They are dogs with big souls – strong, sensitive, and loyal. They are my best companions for mountain trips and long walks through the hills, but they are equally happy to cuddle and enjoy quiet moments on the couch while watching TV or reading a good book.
Today, my life is filled by two exceptional canine ladies. Berica Saly Rhodeny – Beruška (13.10.2022) is a calm and balanced female with a wonderful temperament. Although due to positive spondylosis she could not be bred, she is a great gift to me. She is an inseparable part of our pack and reminds me every day that the most important thing is a dog’s heart.
The second lady is Ma’ishah Arte Cassari – Nadi, Naduška (13.11.2022), on whom I am building my kennel Monabe. She is loving, devoted, a little jealous and possessive – exactly the kind of RR they are said to be. She brought new energy, courage, and self-confidence into my life. She taught me to step out of the shadows, believe in myself, and be proud of what I have achieved. It was with her that I also began to fully dedicate myself to handling, which I am still learning from the best and striving to improve in.
